Hey Dolls so for this post I focused on all my favorite Lippies for this Month. I attempted to do lip swatches on all of them but after maybe 4 applications and all of the rubbing off in between my lips weren't so happy. Began to feel swollen and irritated so I was only able to do a few for you gals.

  2. Revlon Carnation
  3. Maybelline Born With It
  4. Maybelline Party Pink

** There are Several dupes for this new Mac Lipstick I have heard . This was the 1st I heard of. I haven't been able to get my hands on it but not sure if it is for me.
This is a Matte Pink from Revlon and takes about 5-6 applications to achieve the dupe look of Candy Yum Yum. I though I was gonna loove the Mac one but still debating seems a little to bright for me looks great on others from what I can tell but its an " In Your Face " PINK LOL

These Lip tars are EXTREMELY Pigmented. like Seriously a drop goes a loong way. They are great alone or with a gloss over them and last forever

Some Notes I gathered on my Phone for you all as I learned about them:

I hope this was helpful to you ladies. I hope to get a few Mac items over time.
Also I have done this to inform everyone of alternatives to some Mac items that you may want but cant seem to get or want a dupe for. This is info I have acquired over some other friends, blogs, videos etc. You may not think a certain one I posted is a Dupe for that Mac product. Everyones opinion will vary so please do not use this in the hopes it will be the exact precise color or consistency of the Mac Item. This is just simply a guide to refer to if you want to find a dupe or similar shade to one of you favorites.

April Faves/ Blushes

Hello Everyone so this Month I had so many products I loved that I decided to break them up into groups to make it easier . This post is dedicated to my favorite Blushes this Month. I am pretty sure you all have gotten wind of the new Milani Baked Blushes. They are Super Gorgeous and Pigmented. I found most of mine at my local Walgreens or if I am not mistaken I hear they also carry them at Walmart for a few cents cheaper. For an online option there is also Cherry Culture which carries a lot of Milani , Nyx, Eyeko Products as well.

There were also a few other Blushes that I loved by Elf, Nyx and Urban Decay.

Elf Studio Blushes $3 each

Left: Pink Passion  Right: Fuscia Fusion

Nyx Rouge Cream Blush $6 each

Left: Boho Chic Right: Natural
Very Creamy almost like a Lip Gloss. Great Color Pay Off

I got these bad boys for $5 yes Ladies $5 each!!!! Usually retails for $17. These are the After Glow Powder Blushes. HauteLook recently had a sale on all the Urban Decay Items these are a few of the items I chose. Some others but will be included in posts to follow!

My Absolute Faves: Dolce Pink, and Corallina. Pictures really do them no justice. Great for most skin tones I think . Some have a slight shimmer to it if you are one of those people that do not like that.
The only one that seemed matte was Terra Sole.
There are I believe 9 Blushes in this Collection. These are the ones that appealed to me.

There New Home:

Slightly Bursting at the seams but its ok ha ha

** I absolutely love the Blushes they are all well pigmented and are affordable. I love Nars Blushes, and Mac Blushes as well. This is just my Drug Store Version of my faves for now.

Cupcake Cathy

Hi Beauty Bloggies I hope everyone Had a Wonderful Easter this past Sunday! This isnt Makeup Related but thought I would share anyways. I was definitely a Busy Bunny this year. My Husband and I had Easter Dinner with the Family and then it was back to our place for Desert. I was working on a little project that I had been wanting to do for a few months now and finally did it. Super Time consuming but was fun:

Ears: Marshmallows Cut Long Wise then dip sticky portion in Pink Sprinkles
Eyes/Nose: i used Robin Eggs but u can use anything M&M's, Reeses Pieces, Skittles Etc
Smaller Marshmallows for under the nose.
Fuzzy Fur: Shredded Coconut. Pour some in a bowl turn the iced cupcake upside down and dip it in!

Marshmallow Peeps for some toppers, Jelly Beans as Eggs

Easter Cupcakes! Was soo Easy to do. I even made my own Buttercream icing from Scratch. Definitely got great use of My Kitchen Aid Professional Mixer.

** This was definitely fun but more towards the younger crowd obviously. Adults don't really seem to care for the marshmallows, and added details of cuteness ha ha . They may find it to be a Diabetic Coma waiting to Happen ! LOL None the less an Easter Project i intend to pass on and do when I have children of my own.

BB Cream !

Today I am super excited because I have been dying to let you all in on this amazing product. I recently just learned about BB cream while browsing the Internet and one of the You Tube videos I watched featured this item. Now I definitely was intrigued because it was like anything I have ever used before.

Love the Finish

Now let me fill you in on some History I found on it:

HISTORY: Invented in 2007 based on German laser skin treatment R&D technology, Skin 79 launched the 1st BB cream cosmetic product in the market. Korean celebrities including Song Hye Kyo is amongst the first to use it. It later gained exponential popularity due to its excellent results and more than a million of BB cream products were sold in Korea that year itself. Today, BB cream are being manufactured by many other popular Korean cosmetic brands as well including BRTC, Dr. Jart+, Hanskin, Skin79, Etude, Missha, Skinfood and Liole. It is currently the hottest cosmetic product in Asia and the most popular cosmetic product used by Korean celebrities.

BB CREAM = Base + Foundation + Concealer + (Natural Makeup) + Sunblock + Moisturiser + Oil Control + Healing Properties (Skin Regeneration, Pore Tightening, Skin Toning) + Optional Feature (Anti-Wrinkle/Brightening/Whitening)

EFFECT OF BB CREAM:
INSTANTLY AFTER YOU APPLY:
It provides coverage  just like a foundation by covering up all acne, pores, marks, lines and uneven skin colour spots BUT without clogging the pores/damaging the skin. Instead, it helps tighten pores and improve the skin condition.

AFTER 1 MONTH OF CONTINUOUS USE:
After continuously using it for a month of you, it will leave you with better skin complexion (much smoother, softer and refined skin).

How this works is that every time you use it, it acts as a protective layer which controls excess oil and at the same time giving it enough moisture it to make very healthy. It also protects against all harmful UV rays and environmental damage so that your skin will stay healthy. Plus with its special healing properties derived from its natural ingredients (such as White Hazel, Aloe & Caviar extract) which promotes skin regeneration and pore tightening, the end result after using it for 1 month of more is a much smoother, softer and refined skin that will make your face complexion gorgeous!

General BB Cream Characteristics:

• Provides coverage just like a foundation but without clogging pores/damaging the skin
• Natural no makeup look
• Conceals all types of pigmentation, discoloration, acne and marks
• Perfect coverage without clogging pores
• Quick all-in-one base, foundation and concealer
• Healing properties which soften, smoothen and refine skin
• Encourages skin regeneration to create and maintain youthful skin
• UV Protection for healthy skin (check product details for SPF level)
• Some BB cream has additional features such as anti-wrinkle, whitening functions etc. (check product details for more info)

If you think it's impossible for there to be such an awesome cosmetic product, just walk in to any cosmetic counter in Korea and ask them. Almost all girls in Korea not only knows it but loves it!

Ok Ladies so Sounds great so far right? I got this info from a site I had been reading up on for a bit.

So what I have gathered so far it is A Blemish Balm. Not quite sure what Beblesh is but I guess they were trying to say Blemish? Ha Ha. They all say this on it!

I also understand that there are a few Ebay sellers that carry this and other online stores. However a lot of what I learned is that there are many Knock Offs of this Item as well because it is so popular.

One of the ways I learned to Spot a Fake was on the Back of the Box some have the website Skin79 printed on the back . It is not Suppose to have the website on it :

No website on the back of the Box. Also I have read that on Fake ones the instructions are in Chinese and are suppose to be in English.

It should also have this Authenticity label on it.
Refer here so you can see for yourself directly from Skin79

There are soooo Many different types of BB cream to fit your needs and range in prices also.
There are plenty of sites with images of knockoffs and plenty of videos explaining how to spot a Fake. So do your research Ladies!

Pros:
Smell is very pleasant not Overwhelming
Has consistency of a Tinted Moisturizer
Blendable
Little goes a looong Way
Great for Fair Complexions

Cons:
Limited Shades for those of us that are anywhere from NC35 or Higher
Doesn't do much for concealing for me as it claims.
Can't use as a foundation right now because it is too light

Ok now for the Fun Stuff:

After Blending

Slight Grayish Cast and still too light for me.

My Solution :

Mix with my Benefit You Rebel Tinted Moisturizer

Much Better! After setting with a Powder Out the Door I go.

So here I am just straight BB cream and Tinted Moisturizer Nothing Else Daring I know LOL:

Closer

After Some Blush and Bronzer:

Loving this new Lipstick I got BTW ha ha  I know off topic but def in my April Faves!

I purchased this item on Amazon for around $14 with shipping and took about a week and a half from Korea which I thought was not bad at all!

So far I am loving this and makes my skin feel great. I did find that they Make one in a Shade Darker but it is sold out everywhere but I am trying to get it so I can review as well and do not have to mix any more.

Will be doing another review over the weekend on some other Asian Items I got and there websites also.

So sit tight and will see you guys soon!

Glamour Doll Eyes Look

Hey everyone so today  I decided on this dreary rainy day to finally do a look. My fellow blog Buddy Jaqueline aka A Brilliant Brunette sent me one of the eyeshadow towers from Glamour Doll Eyes. This particular tower was named after her and I had been trying forever to get them but whenever I went to purchase it the site was always down . I was inspired by the look she did with these colors and even though it did not come out as perfect as she did it I customized the look more for me. Now I also need to add I haven't had a chance to do my Eyebrows in a bit so please do not pay attention to them I know they are horrific but will be going soon to get them threaded.

Used this Blue as my base

Hope you all Enjoyed. I had fun doing this look. I never wear lashes and it definitely takes some getting use to couldn't wait to get them off ha ha. They definitely complete a look. Promise more looks in the future.

I enjoyed Jaqueline's look and tried my best to modify it for me. Some people get hung up on trying to get the exact same products or brushes to achieve the look of someone they have seen. I did not have every single item she had but I just used my own tools and ideas to give it a little twist. You can all replicate a look with some colors you already have. You would be surprised how many dupes there are for Certain products. Please let me all know what you think and what you would like to see!
