Hello my gorgeous readers. Today I bring to you an awesome review on the awesome palettes from  VueSet. The lovely Brenda contacted me some time ago about these awesome palettes and if you all know me by now, anything that is going to help keep my makeup stash organized clean and neat I am all over it. Not to  mention I have been building my makeup artist kit and we all know how organization is everything in our kits.

So let me fill you in on all the awesomeness of these palettes. There are 6 palettes to choose from and each and every one of them give you the versatility you will need to to have everything on the go, safe and secure in either your makeup bag or makeup kit.

As you can see they are completely clear and sturdy so you can see everything. They are made of quality grade acrylic and best part is that they are stackable as well!

Overall Opinion:

These are absolutely essential for all of my Type- A Personalities and Obsessive Compulsive neat freaks. My only complaint is how hard some of the smaller compacts are to open. Otherwise as you can see I have my work cut out for me in terms of filling them . I am still trying to decide which cream foundations I want to put in these to be honest which is why mine are empty at the present moment .

Also these fit very well in any size Zuca bag for those of you using them for your makeup kits. Here I layer them out in the small and medium sized bags and as you can see fit safe and secure and neatly. I don't have to be concerned with product fall out or items breaking in them because well I pack my things a certain way to avoid that (will cover in another post) but they close very well and don't pop open.

Recently when I went to the Makeup Show NY I found some of these in one of the booths! I was so excited to see these palettes there for all in the industry to use!

I hope you enjoyed this post and look forward to hearing what you guys think of these awesome palettes. Please head over to Vueset and get your kits in order ! These are great gifts and stocking stuffers (6 months away !) These are great for anyone in the beauty industry or just for travel as well for that person in your life whose makeup bag is a disaster. These will keep it all in one place, aren't cumbersome and travel friendly.

Le Matte #409 Matte for Me
Le Matte #408 She's So Matte
Le Matte #403 No Matte-R What
Le Matte #404 Matte-It of Fact

La Laque #414 I Laque You a Lot
               La Laque #413 Lacque-Onic
               La Laque #412 Lacquer-Ized
                        La Laque #411 Never Lacquer-Ing

Le Matte #409 Matte for Me
Le Matte #408 She's So Matte
Le Matte #403 No Matte-R What
Le Matte #404 Matte-It of Fact

# 403 No Matte-R What
My Least favorite of the Collection in my opinion. Just isn't a flattering shade on me and felt a bit dry on my lips for some reason.

#404 Matte-It Of Fact
A bit Vampy and not sure how I feel about this shade just yet.Seem like would take a few applications to get the desired effect.Great color for fall for those that like the wine shades.

#408 She's So Matte
These shades are more me. I love the coral shade and was happy with the color pay off. These are def thicker in consistency which makes them a little more long wearing.

#409 Matte for Me
Another great shade for those that want to incorporate a shade of red or orange but are afraid of it being to bold. I rind this one to be wearable and would look great on almost any complexion.

#412 Lacquer-Ized
Okay first think I thought of was Nicki Minaj! Lol definitely a shade for the Pinktastic lovers like myself. A fun summer shade that may take some getting use to for some. Like I mentioned before the consistency is thicker and maybe a tad sticky but this bad boy won't budge for some time. One of my Faves!

#411 Never Lacquer-Ing
This is my most favorite shade of them all. A nice mauve/pink shade perfect for everyday on the go. Very long lasting and definitely worthy go having a back up in your stash for.

#413 Lacque-Onic
Is this not a super gorgeous red or what? I del in love with this and will definitely use this to the max during the holidays. The color was so opaque just in one application. I love how shiny and glossy it looks without looking like I sipped out o a bottle of Crisco lol.

#414 I Laque You a Lot

Indeed I def Like a lot! Very nice Reddish Orange shade.

Overall with the exception of 2 of the ones I picked up I really like the product. These do also have the familiar floral old lady scent that I know a lot of you dislike so heads up. I personally love the smell of the L'oreal lip products but I know some are more sensitive to the scent.  I like the color pay off, easy to bring with me everywhere I go and a nice idea for a stocking stuffer for all the lip junkies out there.

Im back! A fun look for Fall

Hello my beauties! I know it has been waay too long and shame on me. I have just had soo much change in my life in the past few months that my beauty blogging had to take a back seat for a bit. I have missed you all soo much and plan to get back to the program!

Items used to achieve this look:

  • The House of Lashes Au Naturale falsies
  • Mac Hibiscus Kiss Blush/Bronzer Duo on the Cheeks
  • NYX HD Studio Photogenic Foundation in Medium
  • L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara
  • L'Oreal Laquer liner 24HR Infallible in Blackest Black
  • Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Medium Ginger
  • MAC Retro Matte Lipsick in Heaux ( Part of the Rhianna Collection
  • L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows in Smoldering Plum, Eternal Sunshine, and Bronzed Taupe

I had purchased the RiRi lipstick a few months ago and haven't had the chance to enjoy it in the summer months. I am so glad I snatched it when I did because it is definitely gonna be my go to berry lip for the fall .

I am not an enormous fan of Matte lipsticks but I am slowly but surely trying to love them . I love the color payoff and shade of this lippy. Doesn't feel to dry but definitely a color you could also add a clear gloss too if you like the shiny lips.

I love getting back into what I love doing. I plan on doing a few more posts soon since I have some free time available to me at the moment so going to take advantage of this time to catch up with my beauties.

Some updates:

I have recently started a new job and have had to adjust to the increased amount of hours and demand. I have been doing some traveling from Florida, Vegas , and Cancun all in the past few months. I am trying to find the thing that makes me the most happiest and is very hard. In the mean time I shall use my creative energy and any spare time to continue blogging and doing some of my crafty projects. Look forward to hearing from you all !
