Coastal Scents Hot Pot Collection

I recently received some eyeshadows that I had been loving in the past . I ordered a few more because to be honest for the price it was just such a great deal and the color selection is great.

I ordered quite a few of these hot pot shadows from Coastal Scents. I absolutely love this site everything comes rather quickly and is super affordable. They all come in individual packaging safe and secure.

I already had a few of the hot pots in my collection and decided to make a couple of palettes with them .

Each shadow was $1.99!!! Yes thats right !

 BitterSweet Orange

Raw Silk
Cameo

Magenta

Bright Tangerine

                                       Shamrock Green
** The Camera is making this shade seem bright and lighter than it actually is . In person is a darker Green.

Persian Pink Blush

Redwood Blush

My only gripe about the blushes is that they are small . They are the standard 26mm eyeshadow pan measurement.

Another Note is that these will NOT fit in the magnetized MAC palettes for those that may be using these to fill them up .

There were just too many to do individual swatches of so I did my best to show you the quality of some of these shadows.

For every 12 Hot Pots you add to your cart you get a 12 pan empty magnetic palette free. I believe the limit is 2 however. Must add all of the shadows to the cart and will automatically reflect in the end.

These are a more affordable alternative for those that may just be starting with makeup and maybe cant afford to pay almost triple the price with a Mac shadow. I love my MAC very much , but if I can save wherever I can I definitely will.

Coastal Scents Micas/Pigments

Hey Dolls so I recently have collected some pigments over some time and have come across some amazing deals. These are incredibly pigmented micas and are super versatile! I ordered from Coastal Scents and I can't say enough good things about this company. No I have not been sent these Items for review. These are all my own purchases with my very own opinions. So without further a due:

All of these are a combination of TKB Trading and Coastal Scents

As you can see most of my Muji Drawers are filled with Pigments.
The small pouch on the bottom right is from TKB but will go more in depth with theres in a another post.

I seem to have created a little stir on Twitter when I posted these pics:

This is Paradise Mica and 1 oz Jar is only $4.75!!!!!!!!
(Prices vary on color popularity etc)
A Mac Pigment in the little jars are like $18 or something.
I can get like 3 of those jars out of this!

Top to Bottom:
Crimson Coral Mica
Camel Mica
Paradise Sunset Mica

1 oz Micas:

Idea of How big these Jars Are!

Super Important:

Paradise Sunset Mica
Crimson Coral Mica
Camel Mica

Got Creative with Crimson Coral:

I absolutely love Pigments. I find them to be a little better than pressed at times just because the color pay off is amazing. Down fall it can get messy. I am aware this is an insane amount of product that if used soley as eyeshadow I will have them for years. However Christmas and holidays are around the corner and are great ideas as gifts for beauty lovers or some just getting started in the beauty world.

Coastal Scents Brush Guards and Makeup Goodies!

Ok so recently while revamping my vanity I realized that I have a lot of Brushes and noticed that over time they were starting to lose there shape. After watching a gazillion of You Tube Vids and doin my own research I decided to get the Brush Guards.

I ordered a Foundation Pack- 5 guards
Shadow/Liner pack  10 guards
Powder Kabuki Pack  4 Large Guards
http://www.coastalscents.com/cfwebstore/index.cfm/product/1694_141/the-coastal-scents-brush-guard.cfm

** There is also a Variety Pack comes with:
1 Shadow/Liner (ex. small)
2 Blush (small)
2 Foundation (medium)
1 Powder/Kabuki (large

After I was them I put them on so they dry to Shape. I usually put them upside down in a cup so that the water doesn't run into the Ferrel of the Brush loosening the glue that holds the brushes together. But since I had so many just laid them all on a towel in direct sunlight to dry faster.

Here is the Kabuki Before the Brush Guard:

In the Brush Guard:

They are very easy to use and I sometimes put them on all my Brushes in the Brush Holders to prevent Dust getting on them when not using them . I don't do it all the time because it is hard for me to see the brush I am looking for when the guard is on it.

Now for the Good Stuff:

I absolutely love this palette. I like the Diversity in Colors and that I can also have a Blush Selection all in one Palette.

A few Swatches:

Not the Clearest Shot but the top ones I uses NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk for a Primer. The bottom ones no Primer.

Now for the Lipglosses :

Sheer Crimson
&
Oasis

No Flash

Flash Left Sheer Crimson- Right Oasis

I like these they aren't super Sticky and gooey and they are very Opaque and have great color payoff !
