National Police week and the Thin Blue Line

Hello my lovlies sorry I have been a bit M.I.A, but well I have an insane schedule but promise I will have some awesome posts for you guys.

This past weekend my family and I went to Washington D.C to take part in the amazing Police Unity Tour. I was so humbled by this experience. This event was mainly for us to all remember the hard work that foes into law enforcement . Being married to a badge myself, I see day in and day out the kind of work that goes into being a police officer. I try not to watch the news too much and well being that my husband was injured on duty recently I am just that much more in tune with his occupation .

The term  'The thin blue line" has a very important meaning behind it.

The Blue represents the officer and the courage they find deep inside when faced with insurmountable odds.

The Black background was designed as a constant reminder of our fallen brother and sister officers.

The Line, the line is what officers protect , the barrier between anomie and a civilized society, between order and chaos, between respect for decency and lawlessness.

I cant even describe how sad, happy I felt all at once. This was to commemorate all of the fallen heroes. Family of survivors and family of those that lost there loved ones on while protecting and serving us all.

A fun makeup look I did in conjunction with Sedona Lace

My Matching Mani!

Hope you all enjoyed had fun with this look and I love to accessorize as you all may tell already!

Be back soo have a list long of posts I am working on for you all!
