Hello dolls today I am so excited to bring you this post. I was recently contacted by this awesome site called Bloom.com
Here is an awesome video to help you gain a better understanding of what exactly this site does and is aimed towards.
I was selected amongst other gorgeous beauty people to be an Ambassador for Bloom! I was just thrilled and just couldnt wait to learn about all that it entailed. In this months Ambassador package we were given a set of gorgeous Winks by Georgie false lashes.
Price: $28

I cant begin to tell you how I squealed with excitement when I removed this gorgeous compact from the box. It is unlike any other false lashes I have tried before.
What I use to apply my falsies:
A pair of Scissors to trim the excess if I feel it is too long for my eyes. You always want to cut from the outer corner the flared part never the inner!
A pair of Tweezers to help sit them onto the lash line
My favorite Lash Adhesive by Andrea Mod Lash, This stuff works instantly and goes on clear.
** I used my own lash adhesive for this application because I have a very sensitive latex allergy.I can not use Duo or any adhesive that is derived from latex materials. I did notice that these do say the adhesive the winks comes with is a safer form, but I just would prefer not to take the risk **
Now it is a bit hard to photograph yourself putting on falsies. It is technique sensitive and does take some practice.
How I apply Falsies is completely different than the way most instruct you to do so but works best for me.
The key is to find a way that works best and be patient will take a few tries.
- I have naturally long lashes so for me to curl them 1st and apply mascara actually interferes with the application for me.
- I measure the length to the way I want and trim the excess if I need to.
- I then line my upper lash line with liquid liner and tightline as well.
- I then apply my adhesive to the false lashes and with my tweezers sit them onto my lash line
If you look down at a mirror will help with the seating of the band itself.
Remember that you want to make sure tha you have enough adhesive on the outer and inner corners since they tend to lift the easiest.
These lashes were a breeze to apply and the packaging alone os just superb. No animal testing, Vegan, and Peta Certified I am sold!
