Hi Dolls hope you are all having a fabulous weekend. I recently went to my local CVS to check out the Clearance sales I had been hearing about via twitter and in the blogging world. To my disappointment there wasn't much going on here in the East coast. There were a couple of Revlon Lispticks marked down 75% etc and a few Almay products but everything I had read up on that were going to be on sale were not reflecting for some reason even upon asking staff and scanning.
Here are a few items I grabbed anyway thinking I would make the best of the situation.
Now let me start by saying that since I had so much success with the Loreal Infallible Cream Shadows I figured that all the items in the line would be just as great.

Ok so maybe I was subconsciously thinking that these would be similar to the Revlon Lip Butters? These went on so sheer almost no color whatsoever on my lips. At this point will just toss them in my purse and use it as a chapstick or just that a lip balm.

I will say I do like the consistency. It reminds me of Maybelline Mousse Blushes. I was not impressed with the pigmentation at all. I will not completely write this product off but will have to play around with it a bit more. The packaging is a bit bulky and reminds me of the huge ELF Lip Conditioner etc .
Next we have the Physician's Formula Newest Collection of Shimmer Strips.
These Come in Casual, Fashionista, Smokey, and Nude.

I can not get myself to like these palettes. They are super cute in packaging but that is about it for me. I am thinking maybe will get more use of it using them wet? I was underwhelmed with the color pay off and the chalkiness for me.
I also feel that for drugstore that its a bit pricey.
The last 2 shades in the palette did a little better with color pay off but nothing too exciting. I have read that people are using this palette as a dupe for the Naked palettes and I honestly would not categorize this as a dupe at all in the least. Sure if you are looking to save a few bux and get a decent nude palette go for it. But if you dont want to have dig your brush in to get the same color pay off as the Urban Decay Palette then save up for the real deal!
Seriously you guys kind of bummed with these palettes and Loreal products. I will try to return them because I just don't believe in keeping it if I ma not gonna use it. This just my personal opinion and all of you may buy them and Love them but they are just not for me at all. I usually like the Physician's Formula Products so I was shocked to see how blah these were.

I will always be honest with you guys when it comes to products and reviews and as much as I wanted to really love the shimmer strips I really just can not.
