December Favorites
Hello bloggies so this month and year has come to an end. Last month there weren't to many things I was thrilled about product wise so I never did my November Faves.
As you can see here I definitely had a few items I loved this month!
I hear mixed reviews on this palette and you know what for me it really is great. I love the color selection even though there are similarities between this and the 1st. Nonetheless not a bad palette to have in your collection in my opinion.
I actually got this blush as part as one of the Ulta freebie bags a little bit ago and rediscovered it leaves a subtle pink glow on the cheeks.
This cream has made such a difference in my nail beds. They do not split anymore are nice and hard and strong.
This is from BBW and smells exactly how it says on the bottle yummy rasberry and vanilla. I spritz after a nice warm shower and smell great!
An amazing moisturizer. Winter months have brought back issues with dryness and rosacea and this has helped calm it a bit and keep my face moisturized.
Since my birthday a few weeks ago I have been on an eye cream kick. Trying to prevent those fine lines and wrinkles as much as I can now!
I absolutely love this BB Cream. For a while most BB creams only came in light shades. This one is a perfect match for me and gives great coverage.
I really dont have a stash of falsies so when I need them I just run to the drugstore and pick these Ardell Lashes my absolute favorites!
My go to Dental Gadget. We all know oral health has always had my heart 1st before makeup. This orabrush got its start through You Tube believe it or not and now haas made its way in stores! A must for fresh clean breath!
This leaves the most prettiest glow !
I am a concealer junkie! I have so many and decided to use up a few that needed some TLC and so glad I have been using this more!
I am obsessed with the scent of this hand cream. Leaves my hands super soft and smells great!
I wore the L'Oreal Infallible shadows r=the other day and was so impressed with how long they lasted without creasing or budging!
NYX Eyeshadow base in Nude my go to base most of the time!
Have 2 of them one for my purse one for my Vanity!

Get my Health in Gear (Weight Loss, PCOS, Endo, all aspects)
Excercise at least 3x a week! ( I Know super cliche but who cares)
Use what I already have in terms of beauty products.
Save, Save, Save!
Staying focused on what matters at the moment and not dwelling on past issues and people.
Makeup Geek Eyeshadows
Hello Ladies so I recently purchased a few of the Brand New Makeup Geek eyeshadows. Now for those of you that may not be familiar with Makeup Geek heres a little info.
You may have seen You tube videos my Marlena the owner of Makeup Geek and shes does awesome tutorials, and also has an online store where you can find everything from makeup brushes, NYX cosmetics, Authentic Mac samples etc.
I own a few of the brushes from them and I am a devoted Makeup Geek! I was soo excited to try these shadows and get my hands on them . I wanted to mostly because I had read and heard of how amazingly pigmented and such great quality these shadows were. Also because of the pricing . Now those of you may know that I love my Mac makeup but haven't been able to splurge on any of the shadows just yet and when these awesome products come out it makes it that much harder for me to venture into Mac and pay almost double the price.
What it is:
48 Highe End Quality Eyeshadows that are Cruelty Free.
Available WorldWide.
Marlena claims to have worked hard with the formulation and had a lot to do with the making of these incredible shadows!
Price:
$5.99
Right off the bat the packaging is soo colorful and you can tell a lot of work and thought were put into these.
All of the shadows came nestled in the colorful envelope and inside of that was this little black sleeve holding the eyeshadow pan. Completely secure unharmed!

A little Introduction to the Makeup Geek Family:
What it Says:
As Makeup Geeks, we stay true to who we are. Cosmetics are not used to change ourselves, but to enhance the exquisite and unique people that we are. To be a Makeup Geek means to be a reflection of our inner beauty.
Now here is a Comparison to a Mac Shadow.
You get more product and you pay a lot less!
Bright Teal with fleck of Glitter
Bronzey Gold
Warm Reddish Brown
Metallic Champagne
Shimmery Blue Purple
Rasberry Pink with Gold Glitter
Tar Like Matte Black with a Hint of Sparkle
(Reminds me of Black Top)
Orangey Yellow
Deep Brown with Flecks of Gold
Matte Olive Green
There has been some speculation that these were comparable to the Coastal Scents Hot Pots. They look similar but honestly any eyeshadow in a pan is going to be put through the ringer and be compared to one another.
So far I am really liking these shadows. They are velvety smooth, have great pigmentation and a little more affordable than Mac or even Makeup Forever.
I have read and seen many people compare this to MAC Carbon shadow. I unfortunately do not own it but who needs to when you have this! Can you see how insanely pigmented this Black is!
Left to Right (No Base!):
Razzleberry
Corrupt
Chickadee
Bada Bing
Dirty Martini
Left to Right ( No base!)
PoolSide
Glamorous
Cocoa Bear
ShimmaShimma
Unicorn
Some Extra's I got from the MUG Store:
My very 1st Z Palette!
My very 1st MAC Pigment ( Sample lol)
Magenta Madness
I could Stare at this all Day Oh my Pinkness!
Overall I really like these Makeup Geek Shadows. Will do a look with them soon for you all. Will def get more from the collection in the future!
Christmas Goodness!
Hello my Gorgeous readers . I hope you all had a wonderful holidays. I am beyond exhausted from all of the planning and what not. Cant seem to catch up on my sleep since I am still trying to clean up from the festivities. This year was a little different for my husband and I and we decided to host Christmas Eve in our place. We usually go out for the holidays but we had everyone come here. It was soo much fun having all of the family and kids together and seeing the excitement in they're eyes for them to open all the Christmas Gifts Santa left them !
I just couldnt get anymore festive than I was here. I rocked that Headband like no on else's business and was Santa's little Elf all through the night!
Everyone having a great time , taking pictures what the Holiday's are all about!
My Nephew's Face completely Priceless! This is a 1st for me . This is my very 1st Christmas with my Nephew and new found Sister. Long Story but lets just say it is great to have a Sister!
I mean look at these faces how can you not love them !
Now Let's See what Santa Left for Me!
One thing I love about my husband is his ability to take something I simply mention and he just goes and runs with it. He will do his research watch videoes, and read reviews on all products and get the best ones!
My Favorite Painted Glasses. These are Christmas Ones to go with my Collection!
(Excuse the Mess in the background still catching up LOL)
How Pretty is this Glass Tulip? Sits well in my Glass Cabinet.
Was so excited I had gotten this. I had a smaller one for my point and shoot, but since I had gotten a new camera it was too heavy and topples over. It extends up to 65 inches!!!!
I can not wait to make my 1st batch of waffles in this bad boy. I have read such great reviews on this and I have an awesome recipe for Chicken and Waffles I am dying to try with this!
Something I will definitely need after cooking those waffles!
I can not tell you how much I begged and pleaded for an IPAD. If you follow me on twitter and FB you know I was like a little child begging for a toy at the toy store. This is going to make my life so much easier with blogging and doing things on the go!
Getting caught in a Rainstorm in style with my Coach Rain Boots!
My boss and his family are from India and I love love love all the jewelry and accessories from there. They are so intricate and lavish with decor and so feminine. I was soo excited when they gave me these for Christmas. He explained that there was a ceremony that they have when a woman is Pregnant and they put bangles on both of her arms till they can go no more. Showering her with gifts because of the stress it puts on a woman's body. I am not pregnant by the way but we are sure hoping this may be a little good luck baby dust for us in 2012!
What a better way to end but with a little bit of sparkle. A gorgeous gift from my Sister in Law. She knows me too well!
I have to say that even though I didn't get any makeup or beauty Items I was actually happy that I didn't. Yeah I said it! I have so much to be grateful for and I really do not need anything and if I do I am more than ok getting it myself when I can or waiting.
How did you all spend your holiday's?
